Dr. Robert Weinzimer, DC, has earned a reputation as a leading chiropractor in Southern California, helping patients throughout the Chula Vista area achieve optimal health and wellness by normalizing the critical relationship between the body's structure and function. In addition to offering advanced chiropractic care and routine adjustments, he also provides patients with an array of complementary treatments, including massage, physical therapy, acupuncture, nutritional and lifestyle counseling, and guided weight loss. Every patient receives care individualized to their specific health needs for the best results possible.
Dr. Weinzimer has extensive experience providing rehabilitative care for patients suffering injuries as a result of car accidents, sports activities and slip and fall accidents, as well as degenerative diseases, chronic pain and other illnesses, and he also helps patients find welcome relief for aches and pains that come from everyday living.
A California native, Dr. Weinzimer grew up in Northridge, eventually moving to the beach communities he's come to love. After earning a bachelor of science degree at University of California, Santa Barbara, Dr. Weinzimer completed his doctor of chiropractic degree at Southern California University of Health Sciences. In 2004, Dr. Weinzimer took over American Chiropractic Services, a practice with a 40-year history of excellence within the Chula Vista and El Cajon communities and the surrounding areas.
When he's not helping patients lead healthier, more comfortable lives, Dr. Weinzimer enjoys playing basketball and spending time with his wife and his three daughters, who play competitive soccer with a local club. He's recently taken up surfing.
Dr. Trevor Wendel, DC graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in 2017. He is excited and honored to join the American Chiropractic Services family. Prior to beginning his chiropractic education, Dr. Wendel has been a massage therapist since 2003. After completing his training in massage, and beginning to work with patients, he knew that healing people with his hands was his life calling, and sought to continue his education in this field.
During his time at Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Wendel sought to obtain and hone a wide variety of skills in specializations such as sports injuries, ergonomics, manual therapies, and working with special populations such as disabled Veterans.
Dr. Wendel seeks to combine his background in massage, sports medicine, and strength training into his practice as a chiropractor. He feels that true, long-lasting results in relief of chronic pain and postural symptoms can only be reached by combining a well-rounded approach of stretching, moving better, and mindfulness.
Dr. Wendel looks forward to working with you, and helping you realize your health goals! In his spare time, he enjoys trail running, basketball, and spending time with his family.
